- We praise God when we feel joyful (and when we don’t) because of who He is and what He has done (vv. 1, 6)
- We praise God because He is God over us (vv. 2-5)
- We praise God because He is over all the nations (vv. 7-8)
- We praise God because our King Jesus has ascended into heaven and people from all nations will one day worship Him! (vv. 9)
